Habitats
Question: where does it live?
As part of our WASP Activity Day in May 2009 we mapped the following habitats in the school grounds:
The various plant species and their abundance in each habitat was recorded using
Spotter Charts.
We plan to conduct various experiments to show the importance of habitats to different
species.
We planted a new garden to introduce more plants to encourage wildlife - see the
Wildlife
Garden page. At
the end of May we had Painted Lady butterflies visit all the way from Africa - see report on the WASP blog.
