Making a hedgehog house

Hedgehogs will be finding warm places to sleep through the winter soon so I am going to make a house for hedgehogs in my garden.  First I will  put out some food to see if there are any hedgehogs about  in our garden or to try and get some to come in!  I ll let you know what happens.

mouse town

Me and my brother are making a mouse town we have dug holes and put grass in them, and we have made shelters out of wood and nails. We got some black berries for their food, and other things. A couple of days later all the black berries were gone, ( we don’t know if the squirrels ate them!)

chrysallis found.

When me and my brother were playing in the drive way, I picked up a brick and saw what i think was a chrysallis,  it was white and I think it was made out of silk. I blew at it gently and it moved. I went in for lunch  but when I came back out the silk was still there but the caterpiller that had turned into a butterfly was gone.
